Class descriptions
Gentle Flow & Yin is a delicate practice perfect for beginners or students looking to benefit from the therapeutic aspects of yoga. Most classes begin with some gentle postures and movements, to help wake up the body and improve circulation. Then, we start to sink into yin postures. These are supported yoga postures that we hold for up to 3 minutes each, while you fully relax into the ground. This helps the body release deeply, letting go of all tension and stress. It is recommended that you bring an extra pillow or blanket to this class so you can properly support the body while it's on the ground.

Flow & Yin is a sweet blend of flow and yin. About half of class uses a breath-based vinyasa flow to build strength and flexibility, challenging your balance and concentration, and harnessing that energy to promote inner stillness and peace. The other half of class finds you down on the mat holding yin poses for longer periods of time, targeting the connective tissues of the body to help release deeply stored tension. The two styles together are amazingly transformative. WARM classes allow the body's tissues to soften more deeply, as the room is kept between 80-89 degrees.
